In accordance with the guidelines established by the MA Dept. of Revenue (DOR), the Board of Assessors has completed the triennial revaluation program for all properties within the Town. These are the values upon which the actual Fiscal 2009 tax bills will be based. The purpose of this notice is to give you an opportunity to review the proposed value of your property prior to final certification by the DOR. In addition to being available here on the Town website, the new values will also be available for review in the Rowe Town Hall lobby and in the Rowe Post
Office lobby from Friday, November 28th through Friday, December 5th.
Please note that the parcel map & lot numbers have changed. Also, the calculated acreage of each parcel, used for tax assessment purposes, may have changed as a result of implementation of the new tax mapping system. The public is invited to stop by the Assessors office to view the new tax maps and computer system. Copies of tax maps and specific parcel printouts are available for a nominal fee.
